After the events of “Ice Age: The Meltdown“, life begins to change for Manny and his friends: Scrat is still on the hunt to hold onto his beloved acorn, while finding a possible romance in a female sabre-toothed squirrel named Scratte. Manny and Ellie, having since become an item, are expecting a baby, which leaves Manny anxious to ensure that everything is perfect for when his baby arrives. Diego is fed up with being treated like a house-cat and ponders the notion that he is becoming too laid-back. Sid begins to wish for a family of his own, and so steals some dinosaur eggs which leads to Sid ending up in a strange underground world where his herd must rescue him, while dodging dinosaurs and facing danger left and right, and meeting up with a one-eyed weasel known as Buck who hunts dinosaurs intently

This is a question that has fueled years of research, speculation and debates between the pragmatic and the faithful; the logical and the spiritual; science and religion. This is the central driving question of the thriller Knowing, the latest directorial effort from Alex Proyas, who has shown in the past that he can at least competently pull off genre pics (I, Robot), if not excel at them (The Crow, Dark City). It’s safe to say the streak is over for Proyas as Knowing strives to profoundly comment on the determinism vs. coincidence debate and falls flat on its face in the process. Disappointing in just about every way, the ambitious yet unfulfilling raises as many questions as it answers on its way to a ridiculous attempt at a resolution and only shows brief sparks of inspiration when it mimics past Proyas films. Those looking for something fresh and resonant within the conversation of mankind’s bigger picture will find as much to talk about as they would if they stared into a crystal ball for hours.
While it’s hard to tell who has the biggest dick from the movies alone, Bay wins on sheer balls - quite literally at one point. Revenge Of The Fallen is bigger, badder and stupider in every way than its predecessor.
